Due to its location in Westerstede, Grüßing Spedition GmbH not only has a short distance to our warehouses. The company is also certified according to ISO 14001 and maintains an active environmental management system, which is controlled by annual audits.
Grüßing successfully expands its quality management through environmental measures. Among other things, empty runs are reduced by the company's own route optimization. In addition, half of the fleet consists of LNG vehicles, which saves 25% CO2 per truck! In 2023, the first hydrogen truck will also be in operation. One vehicle from the passenger car fleet has also already been converted to e-mobility and is charged at the company's own wallbox.
In addition to sustainability related to the company fleet, the electricity consumption of the administrative and warehouse buildings is also covered by renewable energy and the company has a rainwater collection system for the car wash.
Due to these and other successful measures, Grüßing represents a valuable and sustainable partner for us, who furthermore always reliably supplies our customers.
Sustainable shipping
In addition to the freight forwarder, we have also opted for a climate-neutral option for the shipping service provider. With its "GoGreen" mission, DHL offers a way to make online shipping co2-neutral and thus sustainable. For this, Deutsche Post invests in worldwide climate protection projects and thus promotes sustainable online trade. We at kompackt61 send all our parcels in an environmentally friendly way via this shipping method. Our sample packages thus reach you in a sustainable way.
Climate-neutral and sustainable shipping are also being further expanded. Since 2015, Swiss Post has therefore succeeded in reducing emissions per parcel by 1/4. A value that will only grow further with the expansion of the e-vehicle fleet. A growth that is all about climate-neutral shipping.
